JOB DESCRIPTION

1. Supervise and execute day-to-day electrical operations, maintenance, and troubleshooting of plant equipment and control systems.
2. Handle and monitor Distributed Control Systems (DCS) and electrical drives in the production line.
3. Plan and implement preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance activities.
4. Prepare maintenance schedules, shutdown plans, and ensure timely execution.
5. Analyze equipment failures and implement corrective actions and system improvements.
6. Interpret electrical schematics, layouts, and circuit diagrams for troubleshooting and modifications.
7. Ensure compliance with Electrical Standards, Safety Regulations, and statutory requirements.
8. Support project execution, including installation, commissioning, and upgrades of electrical systems.
9. Coordinate with cross-functional teams for smooth plant operations and maintenance planning.
10. Monitor energy consumption and recommend energy-saving initiatives.
11. Maintain documentation including AMC records, service reports, and equipment history.
12. Conduct and support safety audits and ensure adherence to EHS policies.
13. Prepare MIS reports and provide updates to management on plant performance.
14. Assist procurement team with technical specifications for electrical spares and equipment.
15. Supervise technicians and ensure timely completion of assigned tasks.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

1. Strong knowledge of electrical systems in paper mills, including drives, motors, and control panels.
2. Experience in handling DCS / PLC systems and industrial automation.
3. Understanding of power electronics, power distribution, and transmission systems.
4. Familiarity with preventive and predictive maintenance practices.
5. Knowledge of statutory compliance and electrical safety standards.
6. Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
7. Basic understanding of industrial communication systems.
8. Experience in MIS reporting and documentation.
