RO Membrane Manufacturing
An opportunity for a Production Engineer / Production Manager with hands-on experience in RO Membrane Manufacturing, Melt-Blown Polymer Extrusion and Nonwoven Manufacturing, to manage and optimize production of filtration media and membrane products.
The role involves polymer processing, process troubleshooting, production scaling and quality improvement, with responsibility for maintaining stable production conditions and consistent product quality.

Key Responsibilities
Production & Process Management
- Independently manage and optimize Melt-Blown Polymer Extrusion Lines.
- Establish and maintain stable production conditions.
- Monitor extrusion parameters and their effect on final product quality.
- Support production scaling and process improvement.
- Ensure consistency and quality of manufactured filtration media and membrane products.
Melt-Blown Process & Troubleshooting
- Handle hands-on melt-blown extrusion / nonwoven production.
- Understand melt-blown process principles and fibre formation.
- Troubleshoot issues related to:
- Polymer melting and flow
- Die / nozzle performance
- Air pressure and air temperature
- Melt temperature
- Throughput
- Fibre diameter and distribution
- Basis weight
- Web formation
- Product uniformity
- Pressure drop and filtration performance
Polymer & Material Management
- Work with PP, PBT, PET and other thermoplastic materials.
- Understand polymer melt behaviour and basic rheology.
- Apply knowledge of MFI/MFR, viscosity and thermal behaviour.
- Identify and resolve raw-material-related process problems.
- Participate in material trials and evaluation of alternate grades.
Tooling & Die Management
- Possess basic understanding of die design.
- Support die maintenance and cleaning.
- Identify die/nozzle-related process problems affecting fibre formation and product quality.
Filtration Media & Product Quality
- Work with filter media, nonwoven filtration media and water filtration products.
- Understand key product parameters such as:
- Micron rating
- Filtration efficiency
- Dirt / dust-holding capacity
- Pressure drop
- Permeability / flow rate
- Basis weight
- Thickness
- Fibre diameter
- Product consistency
- Contribute to quality improvement and product consistency.
RO & Water Filtration Applications
- Exposure to RO / water purification filter components will be advantageous.
- Knowledge or exposure to microfibre / fine-fibre polymer media is relevant to the role.
