Paper Indutry QC JOB Description

• Focus on R&D, New product development and Product Improvement through trials, experimentation and benchmark & comparative study on competitor’s product and sample in close coordination with Marketing department.
• Undertake new chemical trials/substitution of chemicals etc., analysis for process improvement and cost reduction.
• Providing information to all concerned as regarding production programme, change in operating condition , change in quality
  Specification and any other relevant information necessary for quality monitoring in respective area.
• Reviewing the test results of input chemical/ raw material, packing material, in process and final product in respective area and accordingly arrange for specification updating from time- to –time.
• Periodic assessment of calibration of all testing instrument / equipments and review of their performance and planning for replacement of obsolete instruments / equipment with state –of- art once on a based approach in respective area.
• Periodic review of internal quality audit reports/ quality records of the department.
  Trouble shoot quality related issues, provide technical services to customers, organizing proactive market visits and action plans.
• Handling customer complaints of respective area.
• Ensuring Location – wise document control and changes whenever necessary.
• Ensuring Control of non- conforming products and their disposition and prevention in coordination with concerned department.
• Implementation of various standards/management systems including legal and statutory requirement prescribed or applicable to the company.
• Build positive relationship with all stakeholders. Liaison with various government officials and agencies, thereby ensuring smooth operations.
• Manpower planning for QA & PD team and their Training & Development, Goal setting, Performance Review, IDP development & review, ESS action plan implementation and other HR initiatives as per management planning.

QC Jobs Requirement

• The incumbent should have thorough knowledge of Product Specifications for Writing & Printing , Tissue , MG varieties, News prints varieties
• Must have basic knowledge on Process of Paper Machine , , Converting Section(Sheet Cutter), , Fibrous Raw material , Chemicals
• Updated Knowledge on Testing Procedure followed in Paper Industry
• preferably in recycled paper business Expertised With Writing & Printing , Newsprint , MG Varieties
• Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools, with the ability to develop
  meaningful KPIs and metrics to measure Q&E performance
