QC Job Description

Job  Opportunity For a Chemist Role in Paper Industry with  detail-oriented in Fibrous and Non Fibrous raw material, Chemical , Pulp and Paper Testing and  Analyzer for the Paper Mills located in Maharashtra .

The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing wastepaper and its moisture content, identifying foreign materials, and negotiating with suppliers on deductions based on the quality of the materials received.

The Incumbent experienced in Know- How of Pulp and Paper Testing Procedures as well as updated knowledge on Product Quality Specifications.

QC Job Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough analysis of wastepaper to determine moisture content and identify any foreign materials.
• Test the Chemicals, Additives, Packing Material as per procedure
• Document and report findings accurately.
• Communicate with the procurement team to negotiate deductions based on the quality and condition of the wastepaper (Raw material and chemicals)
• Conduct test on Pulp & Paper Process as per Procedure alarm the Deviation timely to the production team for the Control of Finished Quality of the Product
• Cross Verify the Finished Product (Paper) as per the specifications of the product
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies.
• Maintain records of all analyses and negotiations.

Job Requirements

• Should have a Diploma in Pulp & Paper or equivalent
• 2+Years working experience in Wastepaper Yard/ Pulp Mill / Stock Preparation from Paper/Board Recycling Industry
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Working Knowledge in Microsoft Excel
