Key Responsibilities

1. After-Sales Service
  • Address and resolve customer complaints promptly to ensure satisfaction.
  • Troubleshoot quality-related issues in coordination with the Quality Assurance team.
  • Provide technical support to customers, offering solutions that improve product performance.
  • Organize proactive market visits to gather customer feedback and assess product performance.
2. Product Development
  • Lead R&D initiatives for new product development and improvement of existing products.
  • Conduct trials and experiments for process enhancement, benchmarking against competitor products.
  • Analyze the use of alternative chemicals and implement cost-effective substitutions.
  • Periodically assess and upgrade testing instruments to ensure precision in quality checks.
3. Customer Support
  • Build strong relationships with customers and stakeholders to foster trust and loyalty.
  • Communicate production programs, changes in quality specifications, and other relevant updates to customers.
  • Ensure seamless coordination with internal teams to meet customer expectations.
  • Develop and implement corrective actions to prevent the recurrence of non-conforming products.
4. Compliance and Documentation
  • Ensure adherence to legal, statutory, and company-prescribed standards.
  • Maintain and control quality records, audit reports, and other documentation as per compliance requirements.
  • Coordinate with government officials and agencies for smooth operations and compliance adherence.
5. Team Management
  • Plan and manage manpower for QA and Product Development teams.
  • Conduct performance reviews, set goals, and ensure training and development of team members.
  • Implement HR initiatives, including ESS action plans and Individual Development Plans (IDPs).

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8–10 years of experience in the paper or allied industries.
  • Proven expertise in product development, customer support, and after-sales service.

  • Familiarity with quality standards and management systems applicable to the paper industry.
