Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the operations of the Finishing House and Sheeting Department.
• Oversee the conversion of large paper rolls into sheets of specific sizes and specifications.
• Ensure that all products meet quality standards and customer requirements.
• Accountable for minimizing material losses during the conversion process from purchased stock to saleable stock (reel to sheet in packing).
• Draft and implement system procedures for the entire reel-to-sheet conversion process.
• Oversee the operation, maintenance, and productivity of machinery, ensuring minimal breakdowns and optimal capacity utilization.
• Prepare budgets for consumable requirements, including the selection and procurement of necessary materials.
• Innovate, fine-tune, and simplify the operations of the entire conversion facility to enhance efficiency.
• Recruit, train, and develop a suitable team to support the facility’s operations.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth production flow.
• Manage and mentor a team of operators and technicians, fostering a culture of safety and excellence.
• Monitor and maintain equipment, ensuring regular maintenance and minimizing downtime.
• Analyze production data and generate reports to inform decision-making.
• Stay updated on industry trends and technologies to continuously enhance department performance.
• Additional responsibilities may be assigned as required by the role.

Finishing House Job Qualifications and Job Requirements:

• Minimum 15+ years of experience in the Paper & Paper Board industry, specifically in finishing or any other paper conversion factory.
• Proven managerial experience within the Paper & Paper Board industry, particularly in finishing and sheeting operations.
• Strong knowledge of finishing processes and equipment, including a complete understanding of operations and troubleshooting for rewinders, sheet cutters,  and guillotines.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a focus on building effective teams and fostering clear communication.
• Ability to analyze data and implement strategic improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement in all aspects of the role.
• Proficiency in personal computer and ERP operations, ensuring seamless integration with digital tools and systems.
